As an entrepreneur of any form, you have a lot more in common with superheroes than you may think.

For starters, superheroes help others. Whether you’re an up-and-coming freelancer or the CEO of a major corporation, it is likely that you have put some major brainpower into thinking up and producing a product and/or service that works to help others.

Secondly, superheroes never give up when the going gets tough. If you’ve experienced enough success to refer to yourself as an entrepreneur in any sense, this is likely something you’re very familiar with. You’ve had to fight tooth and nail to secure that success and you did it through discipline and dedication.

Superheroes can also choose to get a job done by themselves but they know when to call in the reinforcements. Just like Justice League, you know the power of operating as a team in order to reach a common goal and you rely on the combined strengths of your team to get the job done.

While there are many other ways that entrepreneurs are like real-life superheroes, there is one characteristic of a superhero that can be especially difficult for entrepreneurs to uphold, our very own kryptonite: staying productive.
